Mr. Buckman’s company accepts ferrous metals, aluminum cans, other aluminum, copper wiring, brass, stainless steel, and many other types of metals. Beyond the recycling business, he maintains a 2,000-acre agricultural operation throughout the midwest and Princeton, Illinois, and private equity and real estate investment firms. Properties owned and managed that span Northern California, Central Florida, and North-Central Illinois.

Mr. Buckman’s entrepreneurial ventures extend to leading Buckman Aviation, LLC, where he charters out a variety of aircraft he owns. Community involved, he has been a Rotarian for almost 40 years and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Buckman as CEO of Buckman Iron & Metal Co..,INC. was personally invited by the governor as one of the top 10 CEOs in the state of Illinois among them including, the CEO of Caterpillar, Ameren, State Farm, Accenture, Archer Daniels Midland, and the owner of the Blackhawks Rocky Wirtz of Wirtz Distributing for a dinner on the Lincoln table of the Governor’s Mansion at the
State State Capital in Springfield, Illinois. Mr. Buckman was invited to help promote growth of economic development and bussiness expansion within the State of Illinois. His interests include riding motorbikes, boating, and fishing.
